SP1209 South West Priority Growth Area (SWPGA) Delivery – Lowes Creek Carrier

• For Sydney Water/West Region Delivery Team(WRDT)

• The SWPGA is located around 40 kilometres southwest of the Sydney CBD. The SWPGA forms part of the largest Greenfield land release area in NSW, with an estimated ultimate development of over 200,000 dwellings.

• Deep Civil were contracted by Sydney Water/WRDT to install

• 1.2km of Dn900 & Dn1100 GRP gravity sewer carrier main via open trench and slipline

• 1.4km of DN150 PVC watermain

• 9 x DN2400 cast in situ maintenance holes

• 4 x DN3000 cast in situ maintenance holes

• 3 x Ventshafts

• Testing, Commissioning & Restorations

Austral Carrier Mains – Manhole Excavation & Installation

• For Sydney Water/West Region Delivery Team(WRDT)

• The Austral carrier mains included Bonds Creek carrier and Kemps Creek carrier. The carrier mains form part of the overall SWGPA to bring wastewater infrastructure to the Austral, Leppington and Rossmore areas

• Deep Civil were contracted by Sydney Water/WRDT to:

• Excavate and shore 20 shafts at manhole locations across the length of the carrier mains. Each of the excavated shafts ranged in depth form 3m to 18m

• Shafts were shored with a combination of shoring boxes and sheet piles

• Installation of GRP manholes at each shaft location including pipe connections and concrete encasements

• Testing of each GRP manhole and all pipe joints

• Backfill & removal of shafts including final restorations

• Provision of all temporary works designs

Western Sydney Aerotropolis Growth Area (WSAGA) – Badgerys Creek Rd – OD560 PE Watermain Installation

• For Sydney Water/West Region Delivery Team(WRDT)

• The WSAGA involved the installation of new drinking water infrastructure on alignments running along Elizabeth Drive, Luddenham Rd & Badgerys Creek Rd

• Deep Civil were contracted by Sydney Water/WRDT to:

• Install 1.2km of OD560 PE watermain on Badgerys Creek Rd

• Works were completed during night and day shift

• Provision of PE welding and Traffic Control

• Installation of various appurtenances and details

• Testing & Commissioning

Belconnen Trunk Sewer (BTS) Main Installation

• For ICON Water/Diona

• The BTS main involved the installation of a new Dn1200 GRP main to cater for the Belconnen, Gungahlin & Hall catchments in Canberra

• Deep Civil were contracted by Diona/Icon Water to:

• Install 1.4km of Dn1200 GRP trunk main

• Excavate and shore 10 shafts at manhole locations across the length of the carrier. Each shaft ranged in depth from 4m to 7m

• Installation of GRP manholes at each shaft location including pipe connections and concrete encasements

• Testing of each GRP manhole and all pipe joints

• Backfill & removal of shafts including final restorations

Deep Civil

For CPB & Downer JV (CPBDJV)

• The PLR project involved the construction of a Light Rail system from Carlingford to Westmead via Parramatta

• Deep Civil were contracted by CPBDJV to install:

• 10km of RCP stormwater pipe ranging in size from Dn150 to Dn2400 and associated RC pits

• 7.5km of LV & HV electrical conduits and pits

• 6.5km of ITS conduits and pits
